The McMurray Administration (2017-2018)

During her time as president Tyler McMurray and her team:

• Created an online syllabus bank, made improvements in academic advising, made curriculum flow charts, created online teaching evaluations, and OERs,
• Expanded Cowbell Cabs, a safe ride program,
• Advancements for mental health by placing important phone numbers on the back of student IDs,
• Had a record breaking attendance to the largest outdoor concert in Mississippi hosted by the SA, Bulldog Bash,
• Put on the first ever Homecoming Carnival and crowned the first Homecoming King,
• Promoted diversity and inclusion in the SA Senate by the addition of Organizational and Transfer Student seats,
• Increased outreach through simple events that were hosted by the executive council to be more accessible, such as a Big Dawgs student leader retreat, and the State of Our State address,
• Created a First Year Experience class taught by the SA President called Lead Maroon,
• And was awarded SEC Student Government of the Year
