Letter from the SA President
I hope that 2014 is off to a great start for all of you! This is looking like an awesome year to be a Bulldog and we hope you take full advantage of your time here on campus. The spring semester is always a busy time for students (looking for jobs, dedicating time to baseball season, etc.) Make sure to take some time to check out what all the Student Association has to offer you.
Spring time is the semester when the Student Association elects our new Executive Council. I encourage all of you to stay involved and informed with what each candidate stands for. From dining options on campus to academic policies, the individuals coming in to these positions represent our student body in every entity of campus. I encourage all of you to vote; the elected council represents each and every one of us!
I am also looking forward to all of the entertaining programs coming to campus this spring. If you are struggling to find the perfect Valentine’s date, join us in the Dawghouse on February 12 for Speed Dating! The SA will be showing The Hunger Games: Catching fire for FREE for our annual Drive-In Movie on March 4. Be sure to give back some time to our community this semester as well; the Big Event will be taking place on Saturday, March 29. Sign up today!
Most of all, I hope you have a successful and enjoyable semester. Whether that be a 4.0 or making new friends on campus, the Student Association wishes you the best with 2014! If you are interested in finding out more information on how to get involved at MSU, feel free to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org or 662.325.7930.
