During her time as President, Shelby Baluis and her team:
Collaborated with administrators to modernize teaching evaluations, create a syllabus bank, and limit additional course fees,
Expanded the service mission of the organization by having more philanthropic ties for the traditional slate of programming,
Improved representation of underserved populations including the creation of a Transfer Student Affairs Committee (which later became the Transfer Student Association),
And created a better dialogue and increased transparency of the organization through the use of social media.
