Each class elects a class president in the fall semester of each year in conjunction with SA Senate elections. The class president then appoints a vice -president and treasurer of each respective class to form a class council.
Freshman, sophomore, and junior class councils fundraise and make preliminary plans for a major gift to be donated to the University in that class' name upon graduation. The senior class council concludes the work which has taken place freshman-junior years and works to finalize and implement the senior class gift. The project must be approved by the SA Senate and the SA President, and must be completed by April of that class' graduation date.
