D. Zacharias Leadership Conf.

The Dr. Donald Zacharias High School Leadership Conference is hosted every year on the Mississippi State campus. This conference invites top high school students from all over the Southeast to come together to share ideas and learn leadership values which they can implement at their own schools.

The conference speakers and volunteers play a vital role in the success of the conference by sharing stories and experiences in leadership with each conference attendee.

The conference is planned and put on by SA Freshman Forum.

This year's conference will be held on January 26-27, 2013. The theme of this year's conference is "Lead Simply". We will be spending the weekend breaking down the barriers of confusion and complication that sometimes makes leadership difficult. The fee for the conference is $120 and includes: meals, transportation, accommodations at the Comfort Suites, and the conference t-shirt. Applications and Conference/Hotel fees are due on January 11, 2013. Late applications will be accepted, with payment, until the conference is full. All checks should be made payable to "MSU Student Association" with Zacharias Leadership on memo line.

Students will be staying at the Comfort Suites, Starkville, located on the edge of campus near Barnes and Noble. Students will be transported back and forth from the hotel to the conference venue.

Below is a link for a consent form that must be either mailed in or brought to the conference by the student. It requires a student AND parent signature. There is also a link to an electronic copy of our brochure for this years conference.

After applying, you will receive a confirmation e-mail, detailing any missing materials needed to be fully registered. In early January, we will send out more information via your e-mail address on your application, such as: an itinerary, list of speakers, list of events and what to bring for the weekend.
